What Is pH Balance?

Do you remember high school chemistry when you put a piece of litmus paper into vinegar? And, the paper turned pink? The vinegar was acidic, and that means the pH level of vinegar is 0 — the most acidic.

If the paper had turned blue, then that substance would be considered alkaline. On the pH scale of 0-14, 7 is neutral.
